Fort Ontario Post Cemetery tours by lantern light. On Saturday, September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, at 8:00 PM, Corey King will lead moonlight lantern tours of the Post Cemetery at Fort Ontario State Historic Site.
Fort Ontario “Last Post” Lantern Tours featuring descriptions about the history, myths, and legends of people who have died at Fort Ontario begin on July 4 inside the old stone fort. Every Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. in July, and 8:45 p.m. in August. Groups will wind their way around the park and visit the post cemetery.
