Free admission to the Fort all day.\n12:30 PM to 1:30 PM The Children’s Museum of Oswego‘s free Ice Cream party on the fort parade ground for parade participants\, families\, and the festival attendees.\nWWI Period Children’s Games outside the Oswego Civic Arts Center by Shari Crawford\, early American activities specialist and teacher.\nPhoto Opportunities with cutouts of Ludwig Bemelmans in his uniform\, Miss Clavel\, Madeline and Pepito will be outside the fort grounds.\nSelf guided tours of Bemelmans WWI sites will be offered with a pamphlet guide and map of the fort grounds and signage at each of the points.\n4 PM to 6 PM Bemelmans Barbecue Fundraiser at the YMCA Youth Center at the Butch Ponzi Building. A few years later\, he started a series of children’s books about a school girl in Paris named Madeline\, for which he became famous and much beloved.
